I'm not sure I'm happy with this theme, but it'll do for now. I would love to find a cute diet/weight loss theme though.
Anyhow, let me get the particulars out of the way.
I'm Nikki and I'm a 30 something wife and mom. I've been married to Will for over 12 years and we have 3 awesome kiddos. Jake is 15, Rhiannon is 11, and Trey is 7. I have a personal blog at http://www.southernpixie.com if you'd like to hear more about day to day stuff. But this blog, for all intents and purposes, is my weight loss progress blog.
I was not overweight when I was younger. But somehow over the years, I managed to pack on around 50 lbs, 40 of those pounds have been since I got married. Oh and I guess I should add, I'm only 4'11" so that extra weight looks like more on me than it would someone who's say, 5'6 or taller.
My starting weight at the beginning of summer was 175 and I'm now down to 167.8. I am so happy to see the scale finally move in the right direction. I haven't been working out like I need to but I have been cutting back on what I'm eating. I try to only eat 1 helping instead of going back for seconds. And actually, if I wait a few minutes, I realize I'm not really hungry for that 2nd plate anyway.
I realize this picture is kind of small, but it's one of the few that I have of my whole body. This was taken back when I was 175. I am going to take another one once I get to 165. I'm not sure how much difference 10 lbs will make though.
